One of the most useful Photoshop adjustment layer is the Gradient Mapthat you can use to enhance your photos. You can use a gradient map as a non invasive method in which you can change the color map of your image, adding multiple color effects. Using Photoshop gradients(GRD files) you can create virtually unlimited number of color effects. I will start this tutorial by saying that I am not a Photoshop master so I get a little confused sometimes; for example in this tutorial I will explain for all the Photoshop beginners a quick way to enhance a photo by using aGradient Map. As you will see if you open the fill or adjustment layertab we have to gradient options: the Gradient (Fill) and the Gradient Map; so the question is which one to choose and use? And of course what is the difference between the two of them. For the first question I will choose the first option, the Gradient (Fill) instead of the Gradient Map. For the second question I have no answer.
Gradient Map and Gradient Fill Adjustment Layers

So let's start with a beautiful premade background. Add a Gradientadjustment like shown in the image.
Click on the gradient to open the Gradient Editor; there you can change the existing gradient, create one yourself or you can load and use one of the many Photoshop gradients available for free on the internet.
Now set the Blend Mode of the gradient map to Overlay and the opacity 45%
You can play with different gradients and you can obtain beautiful results in just a few minutes using Photoshop gradient map adjustments. In the same way you can use the Gradient Map instead of the Gradient (Fill)and see which of the results suits you best.

The review unit that I have has slightly better specifications but it seems that the processor is slightly outdated so you cannot get the exact same specification online.

I can spend a few hours just tweaking the colors to suite my liking! By using the AlienFX Software, you can choose from 20 colors to customize the 9 different areas of the M14X.
The keyboard and trackpad area are all rubberized to give you a better grip and friction against the laptop. However, I believe once you used it for more than a year and due to wear and tear, the rubbery texture will start to come out and it will look ugly.
Also the placement of the trackpad is not exactly in the center. I did not notice that till my brother pointed that out to me, but it does not really bother me.
Scores
Ran PCMark 7 (Basic Edition) benchmark on it and it return with a score of 1,988. I also ran 3D Mark 11 (Basic Edition) and it return with a score of 1,305.
Judging from the results of 3D Mark 11 from Intel Core i7-2630QM Processor & NVIDIA GeForce GT 555M, it is possible to archive a score of 2,115 which is about 1.5x the score I am getting.

I am pretty impress with the audio quality of the M14X, it can produce really loud and clear audio. The 2.1 Speaker configuration with Subwoofer is powered by Klipsch (which is my favorite earphone brand).

Battery Life
I did not test the battery life as I don’t see a need to. The M14X is just too heavy to be brought around. But I heard the battery life is about 3-4 hours after reading some other reviews. But according to the official specifications, you can get about 6 hours of battery life.
Summary
The only use case I can think of getting the Alienware M14X is that I am overseas temporary and I of course I am a gamer. The reason why I said overseas is because when you are there temporary for 1 or 2 years, there is no point in getting a gaming desktop as you will need to sell it when you leave as bringing the desktop back home is just too much of a hassle.
If you are not going anywhere, I think you are better off with a proper (and perhaps cheaper) gaming desktop.

If you notice some strange devices, then your neighbour has been sneaking in on your internet connection and it is best to set a password.
7- Know if someone is hacking your computer/ Trace a Hacker
Want to know if someone is hacking your computer? Command Prompt can help you find if someone you don't know is connected to your computer stealing private data. Just execute netstat -a and the command prompt will return a list of computers that your computer is connected to. In the results returned, Proto column gives the type of data transmission taking place (TCP or UDP) , Local address column gives the port with which your computer is connected to an external computer and the Foreign Address column gives the external computer you are connected to along with the port being used for the connection. State gives the state of the connection (whether a connection is actually established, or waiting for transmission or is “Timed Out”).
